Art workshops and programs

I offer a wide range of personalized workshops for private lessons for people of all ages and abilities.

Drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking, photography, and mixed media projects can be tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual and will be inspired by various artists, art movements, and materials. Museum trips can be arranged as well as part of the private lessons.

  • Drawing using various materials such as pencil, crayons, charcoal, brush and ink, natural objects are all possible materials that can be used.

  • Painting with various types of watercolor, gouache, tempera, or acrylic are among the materials that can also be used.

  • Sculptures of all sorts can be inspired by natural objects, our surroundings, and other artists. Clay, cardboard, fabric, wire, found materials, and paper are some ideas for materials.

  • Collage using beautiful handmade papers from around the world as well as more everyday and unconventional papers, fabrics, and other assorted materials.

  • Printmaking using various everyday materials and more traditional printing materials can be used.

  • Photography is an option to use as a tool to document visual reference or as an art form on its own.

All private art classes occur either at our welcoming Manhattan space or they can occur in your home or unique space as well.

The cost of the art lessons are:

45 minutes for $100

60 minutes for $125

Please contact me at jmessina.nozawa@gmail.com for a consultation so that we can customize an art program to meet all of your specific needs!
